Blended Whiskies
Blended whiskies are typically based on Single Grain Whiskies, though they can also be based on Single Malts or a combination of the two. Because of this, blended whiskies can be tailored to a specific flavour profile, meaning blended whiskies offer a huge range of flavours and can rival single malts for complexity and palate any day of the week!
You may have come across some more famous, large-scale blends before, but there are a growing number of smaller, independent blenders creating unique drams around the country.
Delicious enjoyed alone or over ice, blended whiskies also lend themselves beautifully to longer drinks and cocktails. They also offer a slightly more affordable entry to the World of Whisky and are a great introduction for whisky newcomers.
