Delivery options

1. Standard Delivery 

Our standard shipping is £5.95 to most regions within mainland U.K. Exceptions can be found below.

The shipping rate to the Scottish Highlands & Islands, Northern Ireland and the Isle of Man is £16.50 and is automatically calculated at checkout based on your shipping postcode. This is due to the higher courier rates to deliver to these regions. Please find postcodes for these regions at the bottom of this page.

We only dispatch orders Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays), therefore orders despatched on Friday will not arrive until Monday earliest as our couriers do not deliver on Saturday or Sunday.

Orders of more than one item may be sent to you separately.

Please note that a signature is currently required for ALL our DPD courier deliveries.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to Scottish licensing laws, we are unable to take requests for parcels to be left in a safe place or with a neighbour, regardless of whether or not your parcel contains alcohol.  This is a condition of our Premises License and our permission to sell alcohol online. 

2. Free Local Delivery around Largs

If you live in Largs, Fairlie, West Kilbride or Skelmorlie, we can deliver directly to your home Free of Charge on orders of £10 or more, Monday-Saturday. Please note that we don't deliver on Sundays. Simply choose the 'Free Local Delivery' option at checkout or ask for this when you call to order.

3. Call/Click & Collect

You can also use our Call/Click & Collect service. Order online and select the 'Pick-up' option at checkout or call 01475 675200 and ask for this service (card payment upfront only). 

For online orders, you'll get an email confirming when your order is ready to pick up from our Hamper Store, 2 Bath Street, Largs KA30 8BL (which is next door to our main shop). The Hamper Store is usually open Monday-Saturday, 10am to 6pm or in-line with our Shop Opening Hours. Please note, these hours will vary over the festive period.

Please bring your order reference number for collection.

Delivery of premium spirits

You must be of legal drinking age in your country of residence to purchase products that contain alcohol.  

We can only sell products containing alcohol to those who are 18 or over within the UK.  

Deliveries of our premium spirits will be made by courier or our local delivery driver.  A signature will be required on courier delivery and ID to show proof of age may be requested. Parcels containing alcohol cannot be left in a safe place or with a neighbour.  The recipient must be at home to receive parcels containing alcohol.

Despatch times

All orders are despatched from our shop in Largs via courier.

Delivery is normally within 1-2 working days throughout most of the UK mainland. Deliveries to the Highlands & Islands, Northern Ireland and The Isle of Man will take longer.

Please note that our couriers do not collect or deliver our parcels on a Saturday, Sunday or Bank Holidays. Orders placed on a Friday afternoon may not be despatched until Monday.

Despatch normally takes place within 24 hours of payment being processed except during busier periods i.e. Easter, Christmas, Bank Holidays etc. Please allow extra time if you need your order for a special date.

If a product is not in stock, we will contact you with the option to cancel your order, replace it or wait for a later delivery if possible. We endeavour to stock every item shown on our website at all times, but this is more difficult during busier periods such as Easter and Christmas etc.

Geraldo’s cannot be held responsible for delays in the delivery caused by our suppliers or their transport providers. 

Delayed deliveries

We rely on a third party for all our deliveries and therefore are unable to guarantee delivery dates. Occasionally during busy periods such as Easter and Christmas, there can be delays which are beyond our control but we will inform customers of any issues that we are aware of.

Shipping Rates to Northern Ireland, Highlands & Islands & Isle of Man

Northern Ireland & Isle of Man - £16.50

All postcodes within Northern Ireland and the Isle of Man will be charged the higher rate of £16.50 due to courier delivery rates to these regions.

Scottish Highlands & Islands - £16.50

All of the postcodes within the Scottish Highlands & Islands listed below will be charged at the higher rate of £16.50 due to courier delivery rates to these regions.
