Kilkerran Single Malt is a lightly peated, double distilled whisky from Glengyle Distillery. This 16 Year Old malt boasts herbal notes on the nose, followed by a palate filled with Medjool dates and brown sugar, all finished with refreshing mint leaf and a touch of ash.

Tasting Notes

Nose: It begins with a herbal note of tobacco and tomato leaf, followed by fruity aromas of rhubarb, blackberries and orange.

Palate: Notes of chocolate mousse and Medjool dates are revealed on the palate alongside brown sugar and blackcurrants.

Finish: This ends with refreshing mint leaf, salted raisin and hazelnut dark chocolate and a touch of ash.

Glengyle Distillery

Kilkerran Single Malt is 100% made in Campbeltown, from barley to bottle at Mitchell’s Glengyle Distillery. Re-opened in 2004 after originally operating from 1872-1925, Mitchell’s Glengyle is under the ownership of Mr Hedley Wright, chairman of Springbank Distillery and descendant of Glengyle’s founder William Mitchell.
