A limited edition release as part of our ‘Small Batch Series’. This is a six year old release that combines two peated casks, with three unpeated casks for a ‘lightly peated’ release. The whisky within these five selected casks was matured in first-fill ex-bourbon for over three years before a 3-year and 4-month finish in French Cognac.

Bottled at 58% ABV, with 2250 bottles available, this is an elegant and orchard-fruit-led single malt with notes of toffee, caramel, poached pear, and a lick of smoke.

Tasting Notes

Nose: On the nose experience notes of red apples and poached pear with soft vanilla ice cream, a dash of runny honey, and a hint of floral sweet smoke.

Palate: The palate is creamy and smooth with notes of toffee apple, poached pear, leading to rich salted caramel and baked apple crumble.

Finish: The finish is elegant and delicate; notes of honeydew melon, lemon zest and apple crumble accompanied by a light oak spice and a welcome wisp of sweet smoke.

Glasgow Distillery is a freestanding, independently owned distillery that was started by two friends in 2012 with a mission to bring premium spirits distillation back to Scotland’s biggest city.

They are Glasgow’s distillery. Always aspiring to do better, they punch above their weight and aim to push the boundaries.

With just a small team of 16 spirit lovers, they create a portfolio of flavoured-packed spirits across whisky, gin, vodka, and rum. These character-rich products are each inspired by a story rooted in the city’s heritage and history.
