Domaine Clarence Dillon, Clarendelle Rouge, AOC Bordeaux, France, 2017 BIN NO 5473
This blend is a beautiful, bright ruby-red colour with very fresh, fruity aromas. The vibrancy of the bouquet follows through to the palate, accompanied by notes of red fruit, blackcurrant and cherry. Well-structured and vivacious with fine, silky tannins and pronounced minerality. The aftertaste is wonderfully long and bursting with delicious flavours.

Producer Profile
The Clarendelle wines are part of the eminent Domaine Clarence Dillon family including Chateau Haut-Brion, La Mission Haut-Brion & Quintus.
First launched in 2005, Clarendelle was the passion project of Prince Robert de Luxembourg who was inspired by the legacy of Clarence Dillon, owner of Château Haut-Brion. The wines benefit from the knowledge and experience of the winemaking team at First Growth Chateau Haut-Brion, La Mission Haut Brion and Quintus and always contain a small proportion of wine from these grands vins. Clarendelle was Bordeaux's first super-premium brand and the style is an expression of Bordeaux terroir that delivers subtle elegance and age-worthy wines. Philosophy: Balance, Elegance and Complexity
Viticulture
The style of the Clarendelle wines is dictated by an expression of the Bordeaux terroir, which aims to produce subtle elegance in age-worthy wines. Like the Haut-Brion wines, Clarendelle offers its assurance by representing an uncompromising quality and consistency with every vintage through its long-term partnerships with local winegrowers.
Winemaking
Born into a culture deeply rooted in a century of prestigious estate wine blending, Clarendelle benefits from the expertise and know-how of a First Growth winemaking team and ageing in their state-of-the-art, eco-friendly cellars. The wines are cellared and only released to the market when they are deemed fully ready to be enjoyed by the consumer.
