Two Towns Down Craft Beers
Two Towns Down produces unique, award-winning craft beers just up the water in Paisley! Choose from some of their best-sellers:
These Streets Pale Ale 4% 440ml VEGAN - This beer, much like the song, is an ode to Paisley, especially now that Two Towns Down have opened the first brewery in Paisley in 125 years! It's a light base beer, with neutral yeast and a soft mouthfeel that allows the showcased hops to shine.
Belter Lager 4.5% 440ml VEGAN - This lager is different from the rest. It combines traditional and modern hops from Germany's Hallertau region (Hersbucher and Blanc) with a crisp, refreshing lager brewed with Chit Malt, wheat and carapils for a luxurious foam.
The Day We Caught The Train 6.6% 440ml - This beer won Gold in the last 3 years on UNtappd. Choose this Salted Caramel Stout and indulge yourself in layers of Belgian Candy, sugar and sea salt.
About Two Towns Down
After graduating from Heriot Watt University in 2019 with a degree in brewing and distilling, Sandy McKelvie formed Two Towns Down as an outlet for his creative passion for beer. Sandy began Two Towns Down in his parents’ garage, where he stored the cans he brewed as a nomadic brewer, purchasing time on other breweries’ kits to create his magic.
The dream was to eventually open a brewery and taproom in his hometown of Paisley. Two Towns Down was to become the first brewery in Paisley for 125 years – since the Sacell Brewery unfortunately ceased trading. Paisley is at the heart of the brand, as evidenced by the beautiful label designs!
Two Towns Down officially opened its doors in 2022, and its tap room is open to visitors on Fridays and Saturdays. Their beers are made with locally-sourced ingredients, and they're all vegetarian-friendly, with the majority also being vegan-friendly!
