Tomatin 12 Year Old Triple Cask 43% Single Malt Scotch Whisky 70cl - £13 OFF
The Tomatin 12-Year-Old is classically smooth, having been matured in traditional Scotch Whisky, ex-Bourbon and ex-Spanish Sherry casks. Aromas of wild heather, pine and cedar soon give way to notes of crème caramel with apples, pears and mango, leading to a full-bodied, buttery finish. The 12-year-old is a distinguished sherry cask whisky with a little something different.

Tasting Notes
Nose: A combination of fruit and spice, with fresh aromas of green apple balanced by richer, spicier notes of cinnamon, nutmeg and Parma violets, along with a touch of milk chocolate.
Palate: Cleaner and fruitier on the palate – cut grass, lemon and orange peel – then richer notes of woody spice arrive.
Finish: The refreshing citrus notes are balanced by the toasty oak.
Tomatin Distillery
Since 1897, Tomatin Distillery has worked hard to build the community that exists today and lies at the heart of everything they do. They produce quality single malt and blended Scotch whisky in Inverness-shire in the Highlands, an area of stunning natural beauty which has rich whisky making traditions dating back to the 1500s.
At Tomatin, soft water from the Alt-na-Frith burn is introduced to tender Scottish barley. This is followed by a long fermentation and slow distillation in tall, slim copper pot stills to create a mellow, fruity spirit.
Then the science of distillation meets the art of maturation.
As one of the last distilleries in Scotland to have its own in-house cooperage, Tomatin is able to source a selection of the finest quality casks from around the world and create one of the most diverse single malt ranges on the market.
