Rooted in heritage and craftsmanship, Teasmith gin is truly hand-crafted and created for those who value exceptional quality. 

The bespoke design of The Teasmith Gin beautifully weaves together the brand's story, provenance, and craft. The intricate, hand-drawn illustrations highlight key botanicals, distillation equipment and the rich influence of tea, all while telling the story of James Taylor and the origins of Sri Lanka's first commercial tea plantation.

Douglas Laing, Independent Blenders, Bottlers and Distillers, has been a renowned name in the Whisky industry since 1948. Adding 'Distiller' to their title marked a defining moment in their history, following the purchase of Strathern Distillery in the Highlands.

As purveyors of fine spirits, the opportunity to purchase The Teasmith Gin was a natural fit. Now, in 2025, they are proud to reintroduce The Teasmith Gin, carefully distilled at their very own Strathearn Distillery. Honouring the flavour profile the brand is known and loved for, this marks a new chapter for Teasmith and Douglas Laing together.
