This is an exceptional new release from Old Perth — a Limited Edition 21-Year-Old whisky, born from a rare union of two legendary distilleries: Macallan and Highland Park. There are only 900 bottles available worldwide and just 150 in the UK!

In 2015, a rare vatting brought together two iconic single malts. The Highland Park component, distilled in 2004, was already 10–11 years old. The Macallan portion was significantly older. This unexpected blend was transferred into sherry casks for long-term maturation — an "accidental" masterpiece that has evolved into something truly special.

Previously released in limited quantities as 12, 13, and 14-year-old bottlings, this whisky has now reached further maturity and is finally ready to be experienced in its 21-Year-Old form. A fitting addition to Old Perth's offering, once again showcasing the diversity of liquid and commitment to authentic sherry cask maturation. 

“This release is as much about serendipity as it is about craftsmanship,” said Graeme Mackeddie, Production Director at Morrison Scotch Whisky Distillers. “An operational ‘accident’ back in 2015 has given us a whisky that can never be recreated. The union of Macallan and Highland Park, enhanced by long maturation in Oloroso sherry butts, has produced a liquid of exceptional character and rarity.”

The award-winning Old Perth range brings together the finest of sherry matured malt whisky from a selection of distilleries in the Glenlivet Region of Speyside and expertly blends them in their home city of Perth, Scotland.

Tasting Notes
