17-year-old single malt from Linkwood here, distilled in 2006, the whisky was filled into a single oloroso sherry butt to mature. That cask was opened up by the gang at North Star Spirits, yielding a total outturn of 575 bottles.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Sweet apple pastries and zesty citrus peels, creamy grist and fruit-packed flapjack.

Palate: Boiled sweets and honeyed malt, buttery oak, and soft, sweet spice.

Finish: Malt loaf, baking spice and sweet old oak.
