Distilled, matured, and bottled under one roof at Aberargie Distillery, this Laureate Expression showcases a newer generation of barley, selected for its resilience and exceptional flavour potential.

With a 68% influence from first-fill sherry casks, balanced with 32% first-fill bourbon maturation, this whisky brings forward Laureate’s vibrant and elegant profile, with notes of candied orange peel, dried fruits, ripe orchard fruits and a lasting honeyed finish.

Aberargie Distillery is right on the border between the Highland and Lowland regions, but unlike either in style. They use Golden Promise and Laureate barley from their own farms, distilled and then matured in first-fill bourbon and sherry casks, giving them complete control over flavour. This allows them to create a refined whisky that is true to its origins and to be enjoyed in those moments worth waiting for.

The Morrison family’s name is woven into the fabric of Scotch whisky, with five generations working as grocers, brokers, blenders, bottlers, and distillers. From managing iconic distilleries to creating award-winning brands, their legacy is one of craftsmanship and tradition. Today, that legacy continues at Aberargie — a family-owned distillery on our own barley farm in Perthshire.
