The thirteenth edition of Glengyle Distillery's Heavily Peated Malt has been matured in 90% Bourbon and 10% Sherry casks giving it a creamy palate with a trademark smoky edge.

No artificial colour and non-chill filtered.

Tasting notes

Nose: Creamy butterscotch and notes of banana fritters and elderflower kick off this heavily peated dram.

Palate: The peat smoke on the palate is complemented by notes of honeydew melon and Iberico ham.

Finish: The smoke continues in the finish along with notes of verbena and honeycomb.

Glengyle Distillery

Kilkerran whisky is distilled in Campbeltown, from barley to bottle at Mitchell’s Glengyle Distillery. Re-opened in 2004 after originally operating from 1872-1925, Mitchell’s Glengyle is under the ownership of Mr Hedley Wright, chairman of Springbank Distillery and descendant of Glengyle’s founder William Mitchell.
