A new addition to the Glasgow 1770 Single Malt range: Bourbon Cask Matured. An ongoing bottling that marries together equal proportions of two of our whisky production styles: unpeated and peated single malt.
Batch 1 is a marriage of six casks in total, each fully matured in first-fill ex-bourbon barrels. The result is a single malt packed with notes of rich vanilla, floral honey, sweet smoke, citrus fruit, and shortbread with tropical tones throughout.

Tasting Notes
Nose: Floral honey and vanilla with a waft of sweet smoke. Floral undertones throughout with notes of toffee apples and buttery citrus fruit.
Palate: Velvety with notes of rich vanilla and double cream leading to tropical pineapple, sweet clementine orange and malty shortbread.
Finish: Long-lasting vanilla-forward finish with ongoing notes of sweet smoke and a rich oak spice.

Glasgow Distillery is a freestanding, independently owned distillery that was started by two friends in 2012 with a mission to bring premium spirits distillation back to Scotland’s biggest city.
