Thirty years ago, at 14:29 on the 29th June 1995, the first new-make spirit was diverted into the Spirit Receiver at the Isle of Arran Distillery, as it was then known. This was the first legal spirit produced on the island since the original Lagg Distillery fell silent in 1837!

On the 4th November 2024, Ardgowan Distillery welcomed their custom copper stills on-site, and the Geraldo’s Whisky aficionados were honoured to be among the guests to see it!

To celebrate 20 years of trading, we are delighted to release our own private cask whisky in collaboration with Arran Distillers.

In March 2020 Geraldo’s celebrated 20 years in business, one week after lockdown. It was always our intention to release a private cask to mark the occasion. It may be a little later than planned but some things are worth waiting for.
