Thirty years ago, at 14:29 on the 29th June 1995, the first new-make spirit was diverted into the Spirit Receiver at the Isle of Arran Distillery, as it was then known. This was the first legal spirit produced on the island since the original Lagg Distillery fell silent in 1837!

This beautiful single cask distilled on 14th May 2012 was chosen and bottled exclusively for the UK market. Lochranza Distillery have made the decision to release fewer private casks in the coming years and these limited releases will become few and far between.

Celebrating 20 Years with a Private Arran Cask Whisky Release
To celebrate 20 years of trading, we are delighted to release our own private cask whisky in collaboration with Arran Distillers.
In March 2020 Geraldo’s celebrated 20 years in business, one week after lockdown. It was always our intention to release a private cask to mark the occasion. It may be a little later than planned but some things are worth waiting for.
