Lochlea 'Harvest Edition' (Second Crop) 46% Single Malt Scotch Whisky 70cl - Aug 2023 Release
Lochlea Distillery is returning with a new series of seasonal, small-batch releases showcasing their signature style in four unique ways across the year.
The Harvest Edition (Second Crop) has been matured in carefully selected Port casks, STR barriques and first-fill Bourbon barrels to offer a deliciously different twist to this 'Second Crop'. Compared to Harvest Edition (First Crop), the team at Lochlea has incorporated a much higher proportion of Port casks to enhance the whisky’s creaminess whilst also introducing a delightful peppery spice from the STR barriques.
The second in a new set of four limited editions, this whisky is inspired by the end of summer, when our golden barley is harvested and eventually used for the next year’s production.

Lochlea is an independently-owned distillery under the management of ex-Laphroaig Distillery Manager John Campbell. Having built up one of the top ten Scotch brands in the world over the past 27 years, John brings a wealth of knowledge and a burning ambition to help Lochlea fulfil its potential.
Rooted in Scottish history, Robert Burns called Lochlea his home throughout his formative years, from 1777 through until his father’s death in 1784. By day, Burns worked hard on the farm and in the evening he enjoyed the company of his friends, debating at the Bachelors Club in nearby Tarbolton. This location has inspired the honest, passionate and progressive nature of Lochlea whisky.
