Launched in August 2022 and already with a GOLD award, this Old Thom gin is certainly already making waves in the gindustry.

This is the first of 'The Tidal Series' of limited edition bottlings from Inverclyde Gin. The Classic Old Tom Style Gin brings together the subtle dryness of a London dry with a sweet warming finish.

Their Old ‘Thom’ Gin, named after the infamous loch found amongst the stunning scenery of the Greenock Cut, has flavours of elderflower and orange peel for a fresh sweetness, leading to notes of Milk Thistle and Cassia for a warming spice and rich complexity.

Sweetened by the famous tart flavours of brambles found across the local forestry and coastlines, then finished off with creamy caramel notes of golden syrup, an integral element of Inverclyde’s industrial heritage.

Serve Suggestion

The recommended serve for Old Thom Gin is 50ml of Gin, 200ml of tonic but also works really well with ginger ale and a handful of raspberries and blackberries to compliment the caramel yet tarty flavours of the Old Thom blend.

This gin is also the ideal spirit for cocktails being sweeter in taste than a typical London Dry style, but with a strong complex mix of flavours.
