Dean's of Huntly
In the small town of Huntly, Aberdeenshire, Helen Dean first began baking her 'melt in the mouth' shortbread in her kitchen to raise funds for the local pipe band of which her husband was the Drum Major. As the band toured around the country, the shortbread's fame spread far and wide and in 1975 Helen established her own small bakery to meet demand.
