Huntress 2022 is the first release from their new spring series of whiskies. This series is all about their ethos of discovery, of walking their own path and is inspired by their guiding star, Neachneohain. Known as the Queen of Spirits in ancient Gaelic legend, she was a goddess of wild animals, the hills the rivers and the moon. A huntress.
This series explores their pursuit of new flavours in whisky making and their love for creativity. This 2022 release features one of their yeast trials for the first time. This humble ingredient is fundamental to making whisky, creating not just alcohol, but also the most interesting flavours in their spirit. By using a yeast that is commonly used in rum production, the result is a delicious combination of flavours of tropical fruits and honeycomb.

Nc'nean Distillery is an independent, organic whisky distillery that exists to create experimental spirits and pioneer sustainable production.
Founded in March 2017 by Annabel Thomas who left her job in London in 2013 to start working on the project and return to the area of Scotland that she spent her childhood holidays. She spent four years raising funds and building the distillery from the ground up on the Morvern peninsula. Passionate about the environment, sustainability and whisky, she has set out to change the way the world thinks about whisky and do things a little differently.
