Hazelburn Sherry Wood 8 Year Old has been fully matured in Oloroso Sherry butts and bottled at 48/2%. This amber dram is unpeated and opens on the nose with sweet cinnamon aromas, with red berry notes behind. On the palate, the mixed berries come to the forefront along with a sticky toffee sweetness. The finish is smooth with hints of hazelnut and walnut.

Tasting notes

Nose: Sweet cinnamon aromas provide a welcoming introduction, with cocoa powder, cranberry and redcurrant notes emerging.

Palate: Mixed berry notes come to the forefront on the palate, along with hints of strawberry bubblegum, sticky toffee pudding and blackberries.

Finish: A nuttiness presents in the finish in notes of hazelnut and walnut.

Maturation: 100% Oloroso Sherry
