Don Papa Port Cask Rum - Limited Edition
Don Papa rum is produced on the island of Negros, or Sugarlandia as it’s known to the locals in The Phillipines. With its long history of sugarcane cultivation, ancient sugar mills and humid tropical climate, it's the ideal place for rum production.
This limited edition is distilled from their signature black gold molasses and double aged on the island in two separate casks. Aged firstly for two years in American Oak ex-Bourbon barrels, it’s then relocated for a further five years to ex-Port barrels, where the rum soaks up flavours of liquorice and ripe, red berries. This process adds an extra layer of rich, divinity to an already perfected recipe.
Presented in a stunning bottle, this limited edition commemorates the quincentenary of the earth’s first circumnavigation, an epic voyage ultimately leading to the landing by the Spanish in the Philippines.

Tasting Notes
Dark, spicy character with a warming, lingering fruitiness. Notes of liquorice, polished oak, dark chocolate and muscovado sugar, followed by zesty blood oranges, ripe red berries and a subtle note of fresh vanilla, give this rum its unique taste profile.
