Introducing the third of Arran’s Signature Series, the "Duero Discovery", a 12 year old expression of Arran Single Malt. It was initially matured for 6 years in first and second fill bourbon barrels, then transferred to first-fill Spanish red wine casks and matured in Arran's dunnage warehouse number 4.

Expect bright, caramel notes on the nose followed by a full-bodied, oak-forward palate with gentle spice and a long, complex finish.

The Signature Series is a brand new four-part limited-edition series that began with Edition 1, "Remnant Renegade" and Edition 2, "Barrel Bonfire". The series is a selection of Arran Single Malts that showcase the diversity of Arran's spirit and the values which are important to the Distillery Team. It will feature four unique bottlings specially chosen by Lochranza Distillery Manager Stewart Bowman and given his seal of approval.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Bright with caramelised fruit and hazelnuts. Sight note of salted caramel and zesty grapefruit ring.

Palate: Full bodied and plenty of complex mouthfeel. Oak forward with dark red berries and creamy vanilla. A little ginger, sweet spice and aniseed.

Finish: Long, complex and mouthwatering. Vanilla and toasted oak lingers with a real sweet candy side. Delightful!
