Tullibardine Single Malt Whisky - 228 Burgundy Cask Finish
This Single Malt Highland Whisky is created in the independent, family-owned Tullibardine Distillery in the village of Blackford at the gateway of the Highlands.
The auburn hue of this whisky comes directly from its time spent in the 228 litre barriques that previously held pinot noir from Chateau de Chassagne Montrachet.
This is a spicy, rich single malt, strongly influenced by the red wine cask finish.
Net weight: 2.1kg
Nose: Red cherries and vanilla with hints of chocolate and turkish delight.
Palate: Real hint of red summer fruit, more chocolate and a spice note on the finish.
Tullibardine is one of the few family-owned, independent distilleries in Scotland, located in Blackford, Perthshire - the gateway to the Highlands. The site dates back to late 1940s as a distillery for producing hand crafted, Highland single malt Scotch whisky.
Having introduced their own on-site bottling in 2016, Tullibardine is now one of the few distilleries in Scotland to distill, mature and bottle their whisky all on site, giving them complete control over the process.
